Bald Eagles are a common sight in New Brunswick today, but many can remember a time where their numbers were depleted. The pesticide DDT would make its way up the food chain, and cause the eagles that ingested it to lay eggs with thin eggshells, which would break. Banning this pesticide allowed populations to rebound!![]()
