Sampling for September has been conducted; our last big sampling day of the year! Thanks again to Larry and Greg for your help. As anyone can see, we had a fantastic time.Every month this season, we featured our equipment that we use in the field; this month, we want to give a shout-out to one of the most important items of all; the humble Personal Flotation Device. Always make sure you bring the appropriate safety equipment when on the water! It could save your life.Bald Eagles are a common sight in New Brunswick today, but many can remember a time where their numbers were depleted. The pesticide DDT would make its way up the food chain, and cause the eagles that ingested it to lay eggs with thin eggshells, which would break. Banning this pesticide allowed populations to rebound!Did you know? It takes 5 years for a Bald Eagle to develop its distinctive white head and yellow beak and eyes!#nature #newbrunswick #conservation #waterquality ... See MoreSee Less
