Zoom Webinar on February 13, 2025 - Eurasian Watermilfoil in Grand Lake: What do we know and what comes next?

7:00 pm – 8:30 pm
February 13, 2025

Tune into a fascinating online Zoom webinar on Thursday, February 13, 2025 starting at 7:00 pm Atlantic time.  What do we know and what comes next?

Where has Eurasian Watermilfoil spread?  What should I do if it is near my property or my favourite launching spot?  Join us in answering these questions and more as we explore the lessons learned during our efforts to monitor and remove the highly invasive aquatic plant Eurasian watermilfoil in Grand Lake, New Brunswick.  Register at https://bit.ly/JGLWA_EWM .  Feel free to submit any questions in advance to [email protected]. We look forward to seeing you there!

To see our FULL eDNA report, check the link in our bio to head to our website, where it is published under the News tab!The Silver Hake (Merluccius bilinearis) and Atlantic Mackerel (Scomber scombrus) are both fish that can be found in the Atlantic Ocean; not in lakes. They were most likely detected due to being used as bait by anglers. These fish would not be adapted to the lack of salt in our freshwater environment!#fish #newbrunswick #environmentalDNA #nature #Conservation ... See MoreSee Less
